"The Lovers" is a pas de deux, a dance for two. This sculpture captures a heightened moment between an inseparable pair. The figures are expressing the momentum and gravity defying essence of a pinnacle moment in movement. They are lifted while remaining grounded, graceful, and strong. This sculpture expresses the marriage of floating and stabilizing in a timeless, classic work of figurative art.
