The buying process

Sculptures NYC Interiors are one-of-a-kind figurative sculptures by NYC based artist, Glenn Marlowe. Each piece is sculpted in clay from live figure models who pose in studio sessions for anywhere between 3-6 months. The resulting sculpture is an original work of art, a unique expression of character and observation of anatomy.

Here's what happens once you have purchased a piece:

The process begins with preparing and creating an original cast. Sculptures from Sculptures NYC Interiors are cast in aqua-resin. Aqua-resin is a non-toxic water-based material permanent in interiors (as well as in most exterior environments).

Please allow 2-4 weeks for your cast to be made and returned to Sculptures NYC. Once your cast returns from the foundry, we'll notify you in order to discuss finishing options.

Each work is painted with a patina of your choice. Sculptures NYC Interiors specializes in the following finishes: rusty earth, sand, polished white, polished black, and bronzed.

Custom patinas and color requests are welcome and available upon request.

When your sculpture is complete, we'll notify you of shipping arrangements. Once we've received shipping payment from you, your original piece of art will be crated and shipped insured and with a tracking number.

Please allow 5-7 weeks from start to finish for your sculpture to be prepared, cast, patinated, and delivered.

If you have questions prior to purchase, please don't hesitate to email the artist directly at [email protected].
